Come learn with us!

Joining Whole Kids Health means becoming part of a warm, collaborative team that truly cares about your growth. Through hands-on experience, active supervision, and exceptional team support, you’ll develop your clinical voice and professional identity with confidence.

Our aim is to cultivate clinicians who feel empowered, energized, and grounded in compassionate, evidence-based care — and in doing so, strengthen the future of child psychology for the families we serve

  • Whole Kids Health participates in the GTA Clinical Practicum Day and offers placements in child Clinical and/or Health Psychology.

We encourage interested applicants to follow the directives and application deadlines set out by the GTA Practicum Coordinators.

  • We offer supervision and training for doctoral-level graduate students in a clinical psychology program who seek continued exposure to child Clinical and/or Health Psychology.

Doctoral associate roles are typically for trainees who have already completed their psychology practica.

  • We welcome the opportunity to provide training to psychologists in supervised practice, under either primary or alternate supervision. Ideal candidates will be pursuing registration in Clinical and/or Health Psychology from the The College of Psychologists and Behaviour Analysts of Ontario (CPBAO).

The purpose of supervision during the supervised practice period is to prepare individuals for autonomous practice. Supervised practice clinicians can also expect to receive support and guidance in preparing for examinations.

Our goal is to ensure that all clinicians are equipped with the knowledge, skills, and confidence necessary to excel in their next steps and to provide high-quality care to their clients.

  • We can also provide supervision to Psychologists Registered for Autonomous Practice who wish to add an area of practice, such as health psychology, or a client group, such as children or adolescents, to their practice.

This supervision is assuming approval by The College of Psychologists and Behaviour Analysts of Ontario (CPBAO).
